What if the goal isn’t reached?
In the planned model, you choose at checkout whether your contribution should go toward a gift card from the specified brand or be refunded if the goal isn’t reached. Neither option is preselected. If a suitable gift card cannot be issued, your contribution is refunded. The brand and terms are shown before payment.
Will Krunch hold the money?
We’re building Krunch around a model where payment providers process contributions and Krunch does not hold the funds. We plan to work with payment providers and marketplaces; agreements are not yet finalized. We’ll share the confirmed providers before launch.
Does the recipient receive cash?
No. In the planned model, contributions go toward a gift or gift card. Neither recipients nor organizers receive cash or can withdraw the contributions.
What happens if a campaign is cancelled?
If a campaign is cancelled, contributions are refunded to the people who paid, not transferred to the gift recipient. We’ll publish the refund terms and processing times before launch.
What exactly is Krunch?
A place to bring your people together around a gift. Start a campaign, invite the crew, and collect contributions and celebration notes in one place.
Does everyone need to download the app?
We’re building an experience with invitations in the app and links you can share anywhere. Our goal is to let guests join a gift in as few steps as possible.
Can I start a campaign right now?
Not yet. We’re getting Krunch ready. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when early access opens.
Does joining the waitlist cost anything?
No. The waitlist is free, with no card details needed. No payments are taken on this page.
